勵志英語——成功在于堅持(中英文對照)

　　達爾文二十年如一日研究生物學(xué)，無論在風(fēng)急浪高的遠洋考察船上，還是在條件簡陋的實驗室里，他始終堅持不懈，較終發(fā)現(xiàn)了生物進化的規(guī)律。門捷列夫在各方面人士都反對他的研究的情況下，仍堅持研究，終于制定了完備的元素周期表。還有法拉第電磁感應(yīng)定律的提出，孟德爾遺傳規(guī)律的發(fā)現(xiàn)，哪一樣不是長期堅持不懈的結(jié)果?由此可見，凡在科學(xué)上有所建樹者都是具有持之以恒的精神的。

　　科學(xué)研究如此，其它方面也是如此。歌德六十年堅持不懈，較終創(chuàng)作出了宏篇巨作《浮士德》;貝多芬失聰后依然堅持不懈，較終創(chuàng)作出了偉大的《命運交響曲》;由此可見，無論是在科學(xué)、文學(xué)、藝術(shù)或是其它任何方面，要取得成功，堅持不懈的毅力都是必不可少的。

　　一個人如此，一個民族、一個國家更是如此。八年抗戰(zhàn)，中國人民始終堅持不懈，即使在較困難的時刻也未放棄，較終打敗了侵略者，取得了勝利。

　　綜上所述，無論什么人，無論干什么，要取得成功就必須堅持不懈，我們孩子也是如此。小學(xué)階段，我們的主要任務(wù)是學(xué)習(xí)知識，掌握技能。正如馬克思所說，“在科學(xué)上沒有平坦的大路可走”，因此，在我們學(xué)習(xí)的過程中，堅持不懈的精神就是必不可少的。可以這么說，一個孩子，要想在學(xué)習(xí)上取得成績，就必須對知識堅持不懈的追求;一個孩子，只有具備了堅持不懈追求知識的精神，才能在學(xué)習(xí)上取得成功。

　　同學(xué)們，當(dāng)困難拌住你成功腳步的時候，當(dāng)失敗挫傷你進取雄心的時候，當(dāng)負擔(dān)壓得你喘不過氣的時候，不要退縮，不要放棄，不要裹足不前，一定要堅持下去，因為只有堅持不懈才能通向成功。
